Professor for Human-Centered AI and Clinical Decision Support Systems (since 09/26) at the Faculty of Computer Science at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences. Previously research group leader (04/23-08/26) at SETLabs Research GmbH in Munich and postdoctoral research fellow and visiting scientist (11/21-10/25) at Harvard Medical School in Boston. PhD (Dr.-Ing.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Munich in 2020 on neuroadaptive human-robot interaction.
My research interests lie at the intersection of human-centered artificial intelligence, medical AI, robotics, and neurotechnologies. I am equally dedicated to teaching and mentoring, with a strong focus on connecting fundamental concepts with real-world applications.
